Pastor Rhamie's Background
Prior to accepting the call to Pastor at Sharon Seventh-day Adventist church in July of 2011, Pastor Rhamie served as the senior pastor at Southside Seventh-day Adventist Church. His
wife, Marie, is a Family Nurse Practitioner and a partner
with him in ministry. Together they have been blessed with
two adult children, Kristin and Kevin, Jr., who attend
Oakwood University.
Pastor Rhamie has a BA in Theology from Oakwood
College and a Masters in Divinity from Andrews University
Theological Seminary. He has also completed extensive
classes and seminars on church growth and church
leadership at Fuller Theological Seminary. He has been
pastoring since 1986.
Pastor Rhamie is also a health/life coach. His goal is
to minister to the total person--spiritual, physical and
psychological-using healthful principles for living. His motto
is: Add more years to your life and more life to your years.
Pastor Rhamie has conducted many successful
spiritual warfare and spiritual gifts seminars and revivals.
He has an anointed fervor for the Lord and an earnest
desire to see people saved and empowered in God's
kingdom. Wherever he serves, his main objective is to equip
God's people so they can be mobilized according their
spiritual gifts in the ministries they have been called. In
addition, he passionately believes that in order for God's
people to be effective and productive in ministry during
these last days, they need to be able to incorporate biblical
principles and promises in their everyday lives through the
baptism of the Holy Spirit.
Pastor Rhamie is a sinner that has been justified,
sanctified and baptized with the Holy Spirit, and he lives to
name, claim and proclaim the dunamis (that is, dynamite
and explosive) power of the risen Christ.
His favorite sport is cricket, a game his father taught
him as a little boy. He enjoys playing basketball,
badminton and ping pong. His favorite past time is reading,
writing and RV camping. Together with his wife, he has a
passion to help individuals reach their dreams and goals.
